The Pate Swap Meet, which was last month, is still one of the best swap meets in the United States. I first started going when I was 8 or 9 years old. Back then it was in Cresson, TX, at the site of the former Pate Museum of Transportation and it was so large you could spend three or four days there and probably not see everything.

This weekend is the swap meet in Canton, TX, and also the one in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Canton is so-so but the Chickasha meet is generally pretty good though it is a bit of a drive from the D/FW area.

There's a swap meet at LaGrave Field from May 31-June 2 in Fort Worth. LaGrave is a smaller one but it's still decent and worth checking out. They run a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LaGraveSwapMeet

For a fairly comprehensive list of Texas Swap Meets point your browser to http://www.oldcarlot.com/ Also check out http://www.oldride.com/ for some others.

There is another decent meet coming up; it's June 11-15 at Petit Jean mountain in Arkansas. If you're interested head over to http://www.museumofautos.com/shows.php

Next year you should check out the swap meet in Greenville, TX. They hold it in April and while it only started a few years ago it's usually a good meet with some interesting stuff. They've got a site at http://greenvilleswapmeet.com/ for more information.
Resistance is Futile.

I've been to the one in Greenville a few years ago, forgot about that one. I thought the pate swap was this weekend but I was wrong, was the one I was looking forward to. And just went to canton last weekend and prob be awhile before we go back.. i'll have to browse those sites, thanks for the info!
